HIERARCHICAL ORDER OF SERVICES
A.) TOTAL MARINE CORPORATION, C.A. in its capacity as leader of the Company Group, acts as commercial representation in Venezuela for the different Shipping Lines, especially Evergreen and its subsidiaries, as a commercial factor and under contract terms, distinguishes the policies and conditions of the services that they provide to users, with sufficient powers to contratct or subcontract their execution. In question, it is the maxim, it exercises control andtrade policies, charters, cost and others. Also in charge of ensuring faithful compliance throughout the chain of services executed by its Group of Companies, such as the following:
Port operations, the responsibility of our Port Agency, acts under the contract and order of TOTAL MARINE CORPORATION, C.A., exercises management, control and distribution of allcontainer units of the lines in dispatch (equipment control). Conditions and charges all services that generate the use of container units to the user or consignee of the goods, once they enter the port. Likewise, with the power of the Shipping Agency, auxiliary of the Customs Administration (Maritime Customs of La Guaira and Puerto Cabello) carries out all the documentary management of the ships and cargoes, import manifests, bills of lading, docking, shipment, reshipment, transshipment, etc.
Our Empty Equipment Storage Company (containers) acts in the same way, receiving the units returned by the user, based in Puerto Cabello, also develops repairs to the containers in case of breakdows, and aditionally cordinates hauling operations for the reshipment of the containers with our transportation company, both represented by TOTAL MARINE CORPORATION.
B.) ATLANTIC FEEDER SERVICES, S.A., (AFS) International Navigation Service Company (Coastal Ships), carries out the activity of transshipment of containerized goods from the main por of Panama, Atlantic coast, to the main ports of La Guaira and Puerto Cabello.
TOTAL MARINE CORPORATION AND THE GRUPO EMPRESAS, dedicated to the shipping field with all the intrinsic scope of the shipping operation; contracting shipping lines, shipping agency, port agent, docking and salling operation, stowage operation, storage of empty equipment, repair of damage to equipment, empty transportation operation, WE COMPLY COMPLETELY WITH THE ENTIRE IMPORT AND EXPORT SHIPPING OPERATION.
FUNCTIONAL ORDER OF THE SERVICE
The functional order of the aforementioned companies is included in a multimodal activity, for the control, management and execution of transportation servicesfor containerized cargo, which leave (export) or enter (import) the national territory, in this order:
1.) The first activity that begins is limited to the Shipping Agency, which allows the LEGAL entry or exit of the Ships (vesseles) of the aforementioned cargo transportation lines, fully documented, cargo manifests, towind, anchoring, dock, planning, boarding, re-boarding and other services of the ship and its crew, rest with the Shipping Agency company.
2.) The second activity (operational) is limited to the activity of loading and unloading the ships at the dock, of the container units, full or empty, of the aforementioned Transportation Lines and even the hauling of the same from or to the areas respective storage; it does this through the hiring of personnel, machinery and equipment in our Port Agency.
3.) The third activity is limited to the control and management of the dispatch of the container units of the USER (consignee, importer, exporter and/or owner of the goods), their cost and conditions of use, return of the units, under the policies conditioning of the Lines through the standards and supervision of "TOTAL MARINE CORPORATION, C.A.", in all concepts, delays, guarantees, damages, insurance premiums, etc., which, as its name refers, falls on the aforementioned: our Shipping Agency
